this guy has been waiting for us to get our head out of our a$$ while flying around the country. to turn down other opportunites to come to our school and lead our team. that matterers to me. Strong didn't feel that way about our program.
Nicely put Muddy.....I would much rather have someone who really wants to be our coach, than someone who's looking to take next best offer like a snifflin kiffin or something. As great a coach as Strong may be, I am feeking like he may not have had the confidence yet to move into the "big time" conference in college football. Saban was not a big name coach when LSwho hired him, nor Less Miles, etc...Look at Brian Kelly, and his track record, Jones is almost a mirror image. Lets get excited, stop all the murmuring, and get ready for a new beginning! If all the naysayers are so much smarter, why arent they the AD, and not just some average joe posting on blogs and message boards. He' not even here yet, and people are unhappy.....I say get over it, or find another team to support! Sorry to be a horses rear, but we are all adults right????? Lets act like it!
