How does this kid, a Vol legacy, not attract attention from Dools?

Lots of confounding info coming out the last three days.

In theory, these are the kids that would have passion putting on the orange and white......

Just another way he could unwittingly build a wall between the UT and former players. Just a bad approach by Dooley IMO.

Dooley should have learned more from his Dad. Vince certainly seemed like a relational coach. This stuff just doesn't compute with me unless Dooley is trying to be Saban-like. Saban can get away with this stuff as he has skins on the wall. Obviously, CDD does not.

Thanks for response Ryan, just seems like a Legacy kid would have gotten better look from CDD's staff is all ,but that said the slot receiver is huge in CBJ's offense so he will be a natural fit in the new offense. Recruiting to his strengths already and only been few days. Hopefully he lands a few of the highly touted recruits for us this season gonna be interesting to keep an eye on.

As a legacy and a good player he had to be offered and pursued. No excuse for not offering and to think people wanted to give Dooley more time.

I think he was a bit drunk w power or the idea of being the HC of a big school. I think he really believed that he knew all, and it was best... Anyway, now that he is gone we are all starting to actually see honest opinions and facts of his wacky ways...from recruits as well as high school coaches straight up just calling him out. They do it now bc he cant blackball the school and withdraw even further from his limited contact and connection with them,also IMO. I think more lettermen have already come out publicly and given CBJ more props and respect than Dools got in three years and if Tee comes...man the energy will be palatable.
