This makes sense to me in that Sunseri says he wants 2 people coaching LBs in the 3-4. He couldn't do that under the current coaching setup. Joseph leaving allows us to hire another LB coach and get a grad assist to coach safeties, maybe Inky is looking to move his career forward.

Remember too CDD put the original staff together relatively fast as he tried to keep together the 2010 class. As others have stated, all of CDD's hires have been an upgrade thus far. Let's hope this trend continues.

While the 2011 season was a major disappointment compared to 2010 and 2009, Dooley's one advantage with hiring coaches now is that the program on the whole is in better shape then when he first came to Tennessee. That's going to attract a higher caliber of coaches to Knoxville, and you can see this already occurring with the hires of Sunseri, Palermo, etc. Dooley will go out and make a hire that strengthens the defensive side of the ball, and I bet Sunseri already has a list of 5-10 coaches he started calling once Josph's move was official.

IMO Coach Sal went to Coach Dooley and asked him tell Coach Joseph it might in is best interest to maybe pursue other job opportunities so our new DC could get the guys he wants on the defensive side of the ball because CSS wants a coach that knows how to coach football and not let our db`s get burnt on 50 yrd plays like he seen last year when watching film and i wish the best to joseph but we needed to upgrade his position IMO.GO VOLS !!!!
