Aw man. Still my all time favorite. I still watch it once every two three months, or atleast the missed field goal in OT. Now that was a hostile a SCARY LOUD stadium.

My favorite night as a Vol, too. I was in FF row 6, sitting next to my Gator buddy. After that, he became a Vol fan. I still kick myself for not making it down to the field.

I still get me goosebumps. Although I was only a 12yr old kid then, that game made me a diehard fan. I love their swagger/confidence. I hope our defense plays this aggressive and loose this year. The cincy game was as close as we came to It last year.

Correction, 04 game vs the Gators. That was ALMOST as crazy. What made 98 special is we hadn't beaten Florida in 5 or 6 years. They had that mouth, and an arrogance that made you cringe. And not too many in the country gave us a chance either. I even had us losing that game.

After the missed fg, I ran from the stadium to the strip where I celebrated in front of O'Chucks. Maybe ten minutes later, I stood on the sidewalk as the goalposts with the CBS camera still attached marched right past me. I said to my brother, the camera is still there! I'll never forget that moment!

Agreed, but I think you misunderstood my post. My reference to our defense play in the Cincy game was limited to my assessment of last year's defense only. Even so, +1 for the note a/b the 04 game vs the gators. It was the best football I have ever been to. Go Vols!

I love the vid! And I was there. One of the things that stands out in my memory was how fast the goal posts were on the ground when the last Fla fg attempt went wide left! Great memories! Thanks
