And he said that he wants Charlie strong bad and that they would have a top 7 recruiting class if he came and this defense would be damn good next year!

Seems like most people see this as the best hire. Hopefully the powers that be (Hart) will come to that conclusion also.

Recruits' opinions trump mine any day...fortunately we share this one.
Thanks for the info UTB. Has he talked to other recruits re: their opinions?

Totally agree. I've wanted him from the start of the whole process. I guess I wasn't clear in my post earlier but bring in an OC, jump on the recruiting and bring the defense back to the late 90s and people will forget about Dooley.

I don't understand people knocking Charlie Strong as a coach.
Seems like people praise offensive coaches, but don't realize there are some great defensive minded coaches out there.
Strong has coached some amazing defenses in the SEC, and he is a great recruiter in the SEC area.
He can go find himself the best offense guy out there to run the offense.

Any word on his thoughts if Gundy comes....

i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have strong.i think this team needs a defensive minded coach..please let this happen!!
