I don't understand why this fanbase immediately goes so negative when everyone leaves. Why can't we just say CJG did a good job with the running backs during his one year here, did a good job recruiting despite not being able to lock down a 5 star RB, and that during his time here he did is all for Tennessee?

- He did not leave UT high and dry. He left before the season started at a pretty dead time in recruiting and player development.
- This is not Gerald Jones calling a recruit and telling him to go to Auburn. You should be able to take a pay raise / title bump and still be a VFL.
- Just my two cents, but coming back to coach at UT doesn't seem all that great considering the QB who won a title here is not a VFL because he took a payraise at a higher profile program (right now) and CJG is a traitor for leaving for a better situation at the most harmless part of the year.
