The primary recruiter doesn't mean much about the position, more the location. If my recollection is correct, Chaney was in charge of the Knoxville area (maybe more). Blanc played pretty well at Central at both fullback and safety (and returner). They mainly used him to run the ball, but he was a playmaker at safety.
