Justin Worley

  • Yes, Worley is an EE. Should be able to see a little bit of what he has to offer.

Not sure why he is ranked where he is, but both staffs at UT had him as their No. 1 QB target for this class. Chaney had a lot to do with it. Thinks he has tremendous upside. Reminds him of a bigger Drew Brees. Loves his accuracy and mentality of understanding football.

I do believe he will redshirt, but it will be great for him to push Bray. I think Bray needs a little competition to make him even better. I would hate to see him become complacent.

I laugh when people say he "doesn't have a great arm". when will ANALysts get it through their heads that having enough arm strength to make the throws asked of you is all you need? it's funny that Clempson and SCjunior not offering(of which you really have no idea why) is a reason to take off points, but LSU, Florida, FSU, North Carolina and Notre Dame offers don't add points? what about that Stanford offer? I guess Jim Harbaugh doesn't know a good quarterback when he sees one. arm strength at qb is comparable to having 4.52 speed at HB in stead of running 4.55. having a "laser-rocket" arm can be pretty useless if you can't tell the difference between 3-deep and man coverage.

here's a big armed qb you guise should check out and give us a rating on....

+1 good sir. So very true.

  • He may be great or he may not, we don't know yet, but all 3 major recruiting services have him as a 3 star, so it is consistent.

Everyone who says he is great b/c of his stats that is flat out wrong. When Hawaii under June Jones every year set some sort of NCAA passing record did anyone think their QB, Chang et. al. were big time QB's. NOPE! Stats can lie, there is such thing as a system QB.

I really hope Simms comes back. I'd like to see Worley get redshifted and have two to three years to play depending how long Bray stays.

I believe that Simms does not have an option-he has not graduated so he eiher plays with us or is done. Not 100% but MOD should know for sure.

  • I'm pretty sure Simms has not redshirted, so he could sit out and take a redshirt year if he transferred elsewhere and then play as a fifth-year senior.
