I have a question? Why do you not cover the Lady Vols on this site? I know women's sports are not as big as men's sports, but at Tennessee our women's programs are second to none! I mean we have Pat Summitt and a whole gym full of All Americans that get no recognition (or if they do I haven't seen it in my time here). I was just curious why we don't have live threads for Lady Vols basketball, recruiting coverage, etc...

Well if that's the case that's all the more reason to cover them. Who do you think Tennessee fans keep up with more Lady Vols basketball or Vols basketball? I mean Tennessee is the premier program in women's basketball. Pat has built a fan base that is nationwide. Something that we can't really say for the football or basketball programs. I think that you would have a lot more usage on here if all aspects of the UT athletic department is covered.

There is absolutely no comparison here.. Tenn Men's Bball has far more fans as does all men's bball teams over womens. Even when TN men are way down, and the women are a top 3 team competing for a championship, they still fall way short of the attendance and interest. Its a fact of life, men garner more interest due to its entertainment advantage. this coming from a guy who coaches girls bball.

If there is enough calls for women to be covered on this site, and the 247 people believe that hiring another employee to cover them will improve membership enough to pay for it and bring about a profit. You will get that. I just don't see it happening
have to agree with you , just not enough interest in the Lady Vols right now but will still support anything having to do with UT

Unfortunately, we don't cover the Lady Vols or Lady Vols recruiting right now. But if you follow UT football, men's basketball and recruiting for those sports, I think you'll find plenty to like on the site.
