Mark my words, USC will not win the National Championship this year because of Lane Kiffin. He will do something boneheaded along the way that costs them at least one game if not more.

You can hate Kiffin for leaving and i do too. But to say he cant coach is crazy. In his only year we smoked Georgia and South carolina both games we werent supposed to win. Took the eventual national champions to the wire on their field and played a VT team close. A team that arguably was one of the best that year and should have been in a BCS bowl. Had he stayed i believe we would be better now but might be in some hot water. I will take two bad years for what i feel the future holds if we keep Dooley. Just think how many top recruits will start coming when we start turning it around THIS YEAR. Even with two bad seasons look at the talent Dooley has brought in and the top talent that still considered us.

^^^^ This ^^^^ The guy can coach. The only question is whether he stays at USC or goes back to the pros.

We will be back were we need to be soon, but it's a long slow process that we all wish we could speed up. Patients is a hard thing to accept, but we have to have belief and positive energy to be successful.

So he smoked Georgia and South Carolina and these weren't necessarily games that we weren't supposed to win. I'll give you the Bama game, but what else has he shown that he can coach? He got beat by UCLA, Auburn, and Ole Miss who he had no business losing to and he did not play VT close. UT stayed with them for a little over a half and then were run out of the building.
I am a Raiders fan, so I have followed him a bit longer than the majority of Vol fans and he hasn't proven a thing as a HC. Not here, not in Oakland, and not at USC. I'll give him credit that he is a good recruiter, but that is the extent of it to this point. This doesn't have a thing to do with how I feel about the guy, but I look at what he has actually done and it is nothing impressive to this point. Maybe this is the year he actually shows that he is this proven coach that people think he is, but to tell me he is a proven HC is crazy.
