Kiffin on Hot Seat?

  • Read some USC db's and the Trojan faithful are ready to run Kiffin out of town on a stick. I have a feeling with the recruiting restrictions USC has on it right now Pat Haden won't make a move for anonther year or two. Kiffin appears to be a lame duck coach though, wheter he will admit it or not.

IMO - Kiffin is to USC as Dooley was to UT.

  • Kiffin won @ Oregon last year as 14 point underdogs. He is a lot better coach then Dooley, but that says very little... Next year he will probably have to win 9 games or he will be out.

  • With the sanctions just now starting to take effect, they're probably stuck with Kiffin for at least another year or two. They wanted him, and they got him, what they're getting now is icing on they cake to me. Karma is a censored sometimes.

On a side note, I'm glad he's USC's problem now, probably would've gotten us in even more trouble with the NCAA.

I agree. I am glad he is USC's problem and not ours.

  • Kiffin is getting what he deserves. All the talent in the world and a horrible coach, and probably more trouble from the NCAA (there is no way he is recruiting clean). Just glad he didn't get us in more trouble.

i agree hes gone from here and we all should be thanking for the blessing..recruiting i give kiffin a+
but coaching ill give him D-...if we had all those big time recruites he has and still getting i think even dooley and staff would have done better..i just cant see anyone saying kiffin is a better coach then dooley..and lets face it..either1 of the guys not very good..both act alot like..control freaks and never has nothing good to say and always making excuses why they didnt win..and never take the responsabilty for there role as headcoach...and when they run monte off..it will be for sure a sht hole
next year...ide take his dad anytime as coach but kiffin is still a spoiled bratt...usc better hope nfl comes calling..be a blessing for them..ide also say that '''''all the big names and 4-5 stars might be considering other options and see the writing on the wall.
tee should have came to tenn..you had your chance..now hes going to get canned with the whole team
    karma-more karma

He's not going anywhere. They won't change coaches until the sanctions are gone or more likely when they are not affecting the program. He get's to take the brunt of the sanctions and then if he is not winning they will change. No top rung coach is going to take that job for several years.
edit: I would add that he is at least as bad if not worse than Dooley given the level of talent he fails to coach up.
