Kiper's 1st Mock Draft and ESPN Insider Article

  • Kiper's first mock has CP going to the Dolphins at 12.

It's an ESPN Insider thing so you have to pay to read it. But basically he says after getting their QB and dealing Marshall last year:

"...Patterson had just one year against top competition after spending two years at the junior college level, but he has very good hands, can beat cornerbacks with his height and strength, and will go up and beat defenders for 50-50 balls. He also has big-time ability to run after the catch, and this slot matches up with his current value."

He doesn't have any other Tennessee players going in the 1st round, and for those interested, he's got the Titans taking DE Dion Jordan from Oregon.

Also, there's an article Kiper wrote on what underclassmen made the right and wrong decisions by either going back to school or going pro. First on the "going to the NFL" is Bray and he thinks he made a bad decision:

"...Bray has the physical talent to impress during the draft process, but even in a weak QB class he's not among the top prospects...."

Pretty interesting article if you have ESPN Insider.
