  • In hindsight Hamilton should have given him the job permanently instead of hiring Dooley. Why not give him a shot now? He's from Tennessee, coached at Tennessee on multiple occasions, was a great recruiter, has many years of NFL experience and clearly wanted the job in 2010. He would almost definitely bring Tee home, keep Graham and maybe hire a few more guys with Tennessee ties. IMO that's what we need. Coaches who have a passion for UT football. What about it?

  • At this point, I'm with you on Kippy Brown. Hamilton wouldn't give him a Dabo Swinney type opportunity where he got the interim tag and the chance to prove himself. Instead he went with a hail mary that was technically "his guy" and not related to Fulmer. We'd be in a better place today if Kippy had gotten the chance. I believe he is currently WR coach with the Seahawks.

    My worry is that Hart is in a similar position to Hamilton Jan 2010 . . and he ends up throwing dumb money at an unproven coach just to get "his guy" . . which may not be best for the program.
