Coaches turning us down left and right a few months ago hasn't helped at all today. I think we would have been better off if hart had gone after more realistic coaches. Strong should have been the only coach that turned us down, and he probably wouldn't have turned us down if he had been our 1st choice. The coaching search was alot of bad publicity. Some of these kids are gonna have to have time to forget this.
Coach Jones will do better next yr. if we can get to a bowl game.

Kiffin came in and held serve and improved on what was already considered a good class that Fulmer was building.
Dooley came in and more or less held serve on Kiffin's last class. He was a pretty good recruiter but he couldn't get his teams over the hump on the pivotal games.
I believe that Jones will be a much better football coach. Dooley and the staff were intent on saving their jobs over the last half of the season when things weren't going well. Therefore, I would venture to say that for a six week period recruiting was not a priority. With all of that happening Jones started a little behind the 8 ball.
The state of TN is supposed to have a better than average year for recruits in 2014. The plan Coach Jones has presented for covering our state should really pay dividends for 2014.
I actually feel much more optimistic now than I have felt for 4 or 5 years.
I feel more confident in what Coach Jones and staff can get done than any of the previous two staffs.
Are we done. Looking above the fax machine I would say they placed the names like we arn't expecting anymore recruits.
