OK, but that's still pretty thin. I'm not saying the guy can't play, but I have my doubts. I certainly wouldn't look for him to match up well against the Andre Johnsons and Calvin Johnsons of the world.

He's actually not a very good cover corner. On That LSU SEC Champ team he was about the 3rd or 4th best cover corner. He has incredible ball skills and return skills but he would be a 5 ft 8 Nickleback in the NFL with suspect cover skills and huge weed red flags. I'd be surprised to see a team take a chance on him in the draft. But yes he will be signed by someone but idk if he will make the team

Also he couldn't cover Michael Williams the 6 ft 7 TE from Alabama at all in the NC Game. Now Megatron, Andre Johnson and other elite receivers are not that tall but Mathieu is to small to be put on an island. He physically can't defend the jump ball against those much bigger guys

Just heard that he ran a 4.43 in the 40. That is much more important than his bench, IMO.
