Maybe, or a great way to say screw you Dooley for not choosing me as DC. Great way to take the high road and throw an uppercut to the gut. Obviously LT came out the best on these exchanges.

Yeah I wast listening to that on my drive home from Nashville to Knoxville last night! Very classy, when they said Lance in Tuscaloosa, I was thinkin' "Tuscaloosa what the hell" and even Chaney was like "hey lance HOW ARE THINGS IN TUSCALOOSA" not realizing it was Lance Thompson, until Kesling said it was Lance Thompson. Extremely classy move. Wish we still had him.

He has been a defensive coordinator before and didn't do so good so that's why he didn't get a shot

Yeah but sunseri had been in the NFL for awhile but it don't matter he is gone so is Dooley it's fine for grudenite

Interesting he would call once Dooley was gone and Chaney was at the helm....and after all our defensive struggles. He might have been saying "remember me" to Vol Nation....your HC didnt give me an interview. (not that I would have promoted him either)

Lance is a class act who kept this team from imploding when Kiffin left and we had no coach. He stayed on with Dooley and moved to D line coach after Chuck Smith got fired. He did it all without complaint. He will always be one of my favorites.
