Liking our D-line look...

If our coaches can get the most out of our group here, we are in great shape. 5 star J. smith. And 4 stars C. Miller , McCullers, and Couch. They were projected with great upside and Stripling has put some great pass rushers into the league with Wolfe etc. simply getting smith's pass rushing fixed up and tight would be considered a major success.

I was just thinking the other day how good C. Miller looked on paper and how little of him I've seen the past few years. Hope he gets the chance to shine this season.

He was my favorite prospect from his class. He had the chance to bolt after Kiffin and stuck with us. He is similar to J. Smith with Miller being a but bigger and better suited for end. If they could put it together, the league better watch out. Couch and McCullers will get their's regardless

If McCullers is as good I think he is he's All SEC good and Couch is no slouch. Jacques Smith has as much as talent as anyone on the team and if Curt Maggitt is healthy he's a fantastic player as every UT fan can attest to. Throw in Marlon Walls and Jason Carr and the group looks solid. I don't think this group is anything like the John Henderson and Albert Haynesworth D Line, but I just want to see consistently good play all year long. I believe Coach Stripling can get that out of these guys. The real question is can we get after the QB because last year in many games we never came near the QB. If we can get Pressure our D could be ok and give us a chance to win some games.

The staff really likes Maggitt at d-end if they like what they see at linebacker and dont have to move him back.

I really think that this year our D-Line could be very disruptive. Especially the starting group. Just dont think we have much depth! and Def not enough to take a hit in recruiting D-Line this year!!!
