Why are we losing all of these LBs? Zanca, Goeas, Barnes, Campbell...
Are we looking for a different type of player? Never good to lose 4 LB commits in 1 year

Well the 1st 3 didn't have even 1 SEC offer which I am done with and we won't see much longer. Campbell hurts though even though he was mainly recruited to be the 3-4 JACK LB.
Let it play out we can upgrade.

A 3-4 LB is a bit different than a 4-3 LB.

The only problem I have with it is the fact that Texas appears to enjoy poaching our LB commits. This is two years in a row that they have grabbed a long-time commitment from the Vols . . . it's kinda tiresome.

Vereen is solid and maybe we can pull 1 from Grace or Cunningham (at OLB) + Trey Johnson (ILB) and whoever else we can get for a 4th LB. No doubt we have some work to do but esp at OLB we can really sell some PT at the WLB position and might even be able to sell the SLB by saying Maggitt is headed to DE a lot too in sub packages + being a JR

Speed, speed and more speed! Can't set the edge if you can't get to the edge. Can't play cover 2 if you can't cover 20 yards downfield.

I believe that the philosophy on both sides of the ball will definitely be speed, speed and more speed. We will recruit many more athletes and then mold them into a position. It is the same thing that Chiefy is doing down at LSU and did formerly here.
