A linebacker from Jacksonville, Fla., who decided to postpone signing with any team Wednesday says he's now planning to take an official visit to Tennessee.

Hate getting in on a kid this late; but if the coaches want him, I hope he ends up a Vol. Cincy is a great place, but we dominated them last year in what was one of our worst years ever. If he sticks with his original committment, we'll have that scholarship next year. It's a win-win either way. Go Vols!

I understand that we weren't hot and heavy after this kid throughout the fall but after the big loses at the LB position coaches gotta look at getting a solid replacement for at least one of them. This kid has been recruited by some big schools. Probably a solid player that would shore up what otherwise is a very solid signing class. One trip to The HIll and this kid will be VFL. Again, to the CDD and staff-GREAT JOB !!! GO VOLS!

I imagine this is one of the kids we would have hedged our bets on, and he maybe would have been scholly 25-30. But since we had the 25 limit we couldnt pursue him. Either that or there was a desperate search and we found him fast

The "small things" ?! That's kind of like saying, "Yeah I like a free Big Mac from McDonalds and all, but there's just something about a free visit to Ye Old Steak House. The incredile, soul-satisfying feeling you get when you bite into a perfectly cooked and seasoned 20 oz Porterhouse. The feeling of having a wait staff that caters to your every whim and makes you feel like the most important person in the world. And things like that - just the small inconsequential things like that." :P

Now you've gone and made me hungry. Nothing like Ye Old Steak House. We always go there on football weekends, but I can't wait that long. Hope Kenneth Bynum likes K-Town and our school because he would be nice addition to the team.

Hopefully the coaches emphasize that he was not a backup plan, they just didn't belive they had an open position for him in the class. As soon as one appeared to open up they pounced because they have wanted him there since the start. Plus we just brought in a new DC that is LB guru that said we have to have this kid. Hopefully we spin it the right way.
