Byron Moore just told me McCullers blocked a FG today.
Moore didn't remember who kicked the FG but said it didn't matter, because any kick would have been blocked.

I don't know if you or Ryan have seen or know who number# 50 in orange was....but he's working with DL and every bit as big as McCullers....???
But think about the beef / options we have up the middle of FG's ... coupled by the jumpers Hunter, CP, maybe Croom.... jeeez I would hope we block some field goals.....it will definitely alter everything from 40 yards or more...and have opposing teams / kickers thinking A LOT more !!!

ohhh. gotcha... Thanks Wes. Yeah I agree. Watching the youtube highlights of practice though...its hard to tell... because in the footladder drill where they go up and use hand technique to hit the pads and rush.... Phillips goes after Greg Clark....who is pretty big, and in that speed of the drill he makes clark look smaller... then Mc Culler's goes after Phillips... and you can tell a difference.... there's not any "giggle" or flap swaying around with Big Mac... which is just unimaginable to me... 375 pounds and just hard like that is CRAZY.
I guess I didn't realize Phillips was that Tall... He's def got a ways to go in order to Look Fit... loose that bad fat (belly etc) and put back on good weight... I would say middle to late season... like couch was last year maybe????
Regardless.... those three guys alone... have really, really thick Trunks.... hips/butt and legs.... which is a great sign and needed for leverage and strength at that position
Dan Hood looks really healthy as well...

Would it be safe to say that scout team work at this stage of the season is about getting extra reps more so than the depth chart for some players?
