Who do you see fitting into the slot position? CP or Zach Rogers or maybe a "by committee"

    welcome

  • I guess the away team gets to call the coin toss??? That would be about the only difference between home and away in this game.

Make mine a double: Pritchard's Double Barrelled, and neat.

The others mentioned are plenty fine, but I prefer that Pritchard's to some $100 a bottle stuff I've sipped.

And what's w/the water, guys? It just rurns the taste. People think you're nuts when you say so, but I think most folks wind up drinking less alcohol if they find a premium spirit and drink it neat or w/only a splash at most, than in mixed drinks, which are created to largely cover up the taste of the spirit.

Crown's the one of the 3 best mixing whiskeys (other 2 are Gentleman Jack & Buffalo Trace), IMO, but straight up or w/a splash of H2O, it's the whiskey for folks who don't really like the taste of whiskey, IMO.

Sorry for the OT 2 cents' worth. I've become a beverage snob in my middle age. Apologies, all.

  • ... but for all you Crown fans, here's one of my fav. country songs of all time:

  • . . . and one more thing. That Da'Rick scholarship carries with it a stipend paid in the form of botanicals and anger management counseling. biggrin

I love jack daniels single barrel. It's sooooo smooth. I just drink it straight up. It's a perfect sipping whiskey for me. Also, seagrams 7 and 7, whew! Only drink that in moderation, unless you like making out with the toilet.
