Peyton was trying to recruit Jones to Colorado? Has Peyton tried to recruit anyone to Tennessee throughout this process? If not, shame on you Peyton ha!
I like what I hear so far in this press conference. Of course he is saying all of the right things. But I can sense his energy. The guy seems really hungry. I hope he comes in with a chip on his shoulder and "butch" slaps the rest of the SEC!

I am too. The guy is passionate. He WANTED to be at Tennessee. I think that people don't appreciate the importance of that. We were having to beg Gruden, Strong, and Gundy to come. But this guy wants to be here. This is a destination job for him. The more I learn about him and the more I hear from him, the more I like him.

Ditto man...I thought he'd be a good hire and have been so frustrated over the past 2 days with Vol Fans reaction to him...but he's firing me up, which isn't good b/c im laying in bed needing to go to sleep!
