I just mean he's collected. He's got the default answer for literally every question ready to go. It speaks to preparedness. No Rommell quips or bamboo analogies.

The thing I find the most glaring is how he refuses to moderate expectations. He's the exact opposite of Dooley in that regard. No talk about rebuilding, no talk about obstacles, just direct establishing of standards and talk about his principles for getting there.

I am honestly impressed.

The only thing he said that might be construed as moderating expectations was when he said he did not know how long it would take to get UT back to its rightful place.

No deception. Direct eye contact. Sincere. Passionate. Sense of humor.

I can see players loving this guy. If he gets Tee this recruiting class will explode

you could have people who didn't actually watch the presser make the 'fan' comments on almost any message board after a new hire and come up with about 85% of the comments.

If you want to get excited about something, don't get excited abut a stupid press conference where nothing of substance is usually said. Get excited about something like this..

Nick Saban was only 5 games over .500, 0-3 in bowl games at Mich St when LSU hired. Give a Butch Jones the Vols/SEC resources, watch out.

Have you seen Cincinnati's stadium? He won championships recruiting to that dump. That's recruiting well.
