  • Interesting how CBJ is looking at vereen for the Leo spot, didnt really think he had the size for it. Really hope the JS explodes this season into the 5 star freak everyone first thought we'd be getting.

    I'm kind of surprised to read that from you Frosty. You've been around long enough to know what happens when you coach scared. God knows we saw evidence of coaching scared against Mizzou last season.

    i guess i dont see coaching smart as coaching scared.. if you are short on bodies, experience and talent, especially in this league, you probly dont want to use the energy and talents of your best players on special teams. Obviously, there are exceptions - CP for example. But do you really want to see AJ and Maggit running down the field on punt teams?

    okay...but would he rather have his best players miss an entire game because they played special teams..? lot of injuries on special teams, and depth isnt a strong point for us.. just sayin.

    Frosty, see where your coming from w the injuries but championship teams have always played starters on special teams....Florida, Bama, OSU etc. this is a great move by coach and frankly one ive waited on the past few years.
