Yes, it's November and it was 1030 a.m. But Im pretty sure it's November and 1030 for OSU as well.. No panic, just saying. That was a brutal game. No offensive flow, aggressiveness, skill, plan, coordination, however you want to say it. We still do not have guys who are reliable scorers. That was disappointing to watch. And i dont think Maymon would have changed the ultimate outcome. Maybe we dont get outrebonded as badly..maybe. But there was nothing good about that game.

Definitely frustrating. Definitely disappointing. Definitely some red flags. Definitely a lot for this team to work on if it hopes to make a splash this year.

Definitely not time for panic. Yet.

Seriously, dude. You're being ridiculous. I'm beginning to think you're a troll rather than a fan.

Not every team is going undefeated. When we have a bad trend of losses like this, the tune will change. For now, this team has lost one game. Go find a new hobby if you can't take it.

Seriously dude some people can accept losing some of us can't. You mean a bad trend of losing like we had last year at this time of year? Seriously dude.

    Haha. Your logic is... interesting

Last I checked, one game does not equal a trend. And one 2012 loss does not equal multiple 2011 losses. And keeping calm after a loss does not equal accepting it as a job well done. If that's your logic, then have fun with that. It's gonna be a long season. And a loooooong life as a sports fan for that matter. Hence my suggestion that you find a new hobby.

We can agree to disagree. Dude.

  • Just checked out the box score...cant find a silver lining to this no matter how hard i look. 26% from the field. McRae and Stokes a combined 3 for 16. Stokes finishes with 7 pts and 4 bds. That should be an average HALF for him. Golden 4 for 12 from the field. At least our bench is deep. Might not be that good, but it's deep. 11 guys played, 10 scored. I felt like after yesterday, we had a lot of guys who could put the ball in the basket, and it would be impossible for them all to go cold... Took less than 24 hours to explode that hypothesis.

  • One major positive from today....Stokes didnt look ready for the NBA today...if he stays, we will have him to join with Hubbs....loco

I don't disagree in the least as to that game.

Some people are misunderstanding some of the other posts, though. It appears (to me, anyway) that everyone is in general agreement that this one, single, solitary game was horrible, and that the team for this one single, solitary game appeared poorly coached, and played much, much worse than that. However, it’s not football, we get to play more than 12 or 13 games, and there is a tournament. I know the loss is fresh this second, but we’re not Bama right after the A&M loss.

Shucks, until Maymon comes back, we may be at .500, and I’m still not going to panic. Martin’s team steadily improved last year, up until the point our lack of depth caused some guys to break down physically.

Stokes will never be ready for the NBA, if you mean a lottery pick. I don't think he's capable of losing 50 lbs, developing handle and a three point shot, or protecting the rim. I love the guy but the number of guys with his skillset in the NBA is pretty much restricted to Dejuan Blair and Jason Maxiell, and guys like that don't go in the lottery. Tractor Traylor ended that for good.
