Tennessee's gonna win tonight, but Cuonzo Martin has every right to be furious with the Vols for this lackadaiscal finish.

Cuonzo said this just wasn't Makanjuola's kind of game — KSU's a tough matchup — so he knew he wasn't gonna play much.

TN just didn't play well tonight. KSU is an terrible team; we got out-rebounding overall and let them end up with a OR% over 40% and FTR just under 50%. They took 9 more shots than we did. This game gave us a glimpse at what TN has to work on without Maymon and it also cast considerable doubt on the notion that Q is a serviceable fill in at the 4. Certainly he wasn't tonight, but it was his debut and maybe he can grow into it.

But it was good to see that McBee has really gained confidence in his shot. He had no hesitation and hit at least one tremendous 3 where he didn't really even have his feet set. McRae look confident as well as was able to finish at least 1 "and-one" with contact; which is a key for his development.

He and Jordy will have to really step if we are to perform anywhere near re-season expectations until Jeronne can get back. And of course, Trae has to be bigger for us, but I expect him to be.
