Ok please don't shoot the messenger here, as I know the reputation of this rogue "reporter"/copyright infringer, but I just saw this on Twitter and seemed pretty weird:

Spoke with Curt Maggitt (starting LB) about a week ago and he confirmed that he will not be playing this upcoming season due to numerous injuries. Send him some love here and lets hope for a speedy recovery. Go Vols.
Surely that's not true, right? First of all, why sit on that for a week? Second, why would that decision be made with six months to go before the season starts?

I follow a lot of people. Doesn't mean I take them all seriously. Usually these guys just copy and paste so I thought it was weird they were trying to "break" a story. If they're making this up (which they probably are), that's a pretty ridiculous stunt.

Probably not true but he really had several big injuries...the ACL was bad, the toe neutered him but his neck stinger was a much bugger issue than anyone let on about...i hope he's fully healthy when he comes back and getting 100% healthy isnt going to happen for him until 2014.
