CBJ and staff really getting after it securing the commits and offering other talent. Really liked the comments about Coach Pittman. Very classy. He will be missed. Nice report Ryan.

I'm glad to have commits like this. All Vol through and through. The end says a lot about Pittman as well, offering support if it is ever needed. The new staff might be the finest people in the world, but its tough to let go of a coach that epitomized the character of being a Vol.

Pittman just continues to show class.

Mahoney has big shoes to fill, Pittman is one heck of a coach, Arkansas got a good one.

so does anyone know if he visited with Howell when he saw Kendrick. I would really hate to miss on that kid.

i'll bet we'll see Harry look like our line did last year when he has to play Bama in the title game. I don't think they've exactly torn it up offensively this year.

So glad to hear that Mahoney is being so well received. I was so hoping that Pittman would be retained and, once the decision was made to let him go, was glad that he landed a position so quickly. The fact that he is not pursuing the commits he attained while at UT speaks volumes to his class.

Ryan, thank you for such an excellent story about Mahoney. It sounds like he is off to a great start and it appears the Vols won't miss a beat on the O-Line.

So, devils advocate, why did Pittman offer Koehler but not kendrick? Does this say something about pittmans personal eval of his talent?
