That kid is a punk with a sorry attitude... an attitude that I personally think reflects poorly on his team and the University of Mississippi. I also think it says a lot about Andy Kennedy; to quote Remember the Titans (one of the best football movies of all time), "attitude reflects leadership". Maybe Kennedy was on the hot seat before the season but I would never bring a kid like this onto my team and let him get away with his attitude/antics. One day, he's going to mouth off to the wrong person and get what's coming to him.

I agree. There have bee many great players that play for teams other than Tennessee that I actually like because they are good and they play hard-nosed basketball and they aren't out there acting like they are playing in Rucker Park show boating after every basket. He's about the easiest player to hate that I've ever seen play college basketball.

I am ok with being upset with his antics, but he will get away with it as long as he is balling out of control. Nobody is going to punk a guy who can play.
Edit: He is doing it now because it gets under skins. It is calculated.

It sounds as if you are wishing harm on the young man. So he dominates the Vols in 2 games, talks trash during the game and you want him to get "what"s coming to him". I am pretty sure if he was one of ours you would feel differently.

There have been many others easier to hate that I've seen such as Christian Leattner, Danny Ferry, Ron Artest (total thug at St. Johns), Allen Iverson at Gtown was twice the hot dog that Henderson is, JJ Redick was an even better shooter than Henderson and more of a show boat, Patrick Ewing, Bobby Hurley, Joakim Noah, Tyler Hansbrough.

PS: Have no problem with this confidence. If you don't like what somebody says deal with it. Maybe we get another shot at them in the SEC tournament.

Not particularly, just wish the kid would treat others with respect and not show up the opposition with his antics. My father always taught me that there's someone out there with a bigger mouth and hotter temper than you have, and saying (or doing) the wrong thing at the wrong time can have consequences. If the kid was humble, he'd be really easy to root for. But he isn't, so he's not. I just wish he'd grow up a little bit.

He's easily one of the biggest douchebags in college basketball. With that level of "doucheyness" he'd fit right in playing for Duke.

As much as I dislike Marshall Henderson lets not forget about a guy that used to play for us named Dane Bradshaw. While we all loved Dane, he mouthed off about Memphis and very nearly started some fights against them. Now, I'm not saying that Dane is nearly as bad as Marshall but let's be real, we've had our fair share of cocky kids too. We just don't normally see it because we're too busy rooting for them.
That being said, I can't stand Marshall Henderson
