I know we are all antsy about the potential new coach, but I would like if we could convince this kid to be all Vol regardless. He is virtually the same size as CP and I like the thought of him and Croom continuing UTs WRU reputation, especially with Pig in slot. Plus the Vols owe him considering he missed his senior year because of an injury sustained in Knoxville and he just might convince Miles to come back with him (slim chance but I would prefer to dream about that than Gruden coming to coach).

I hope we can land this kid. Very good size and will be able to rehab this spring and train at UT campus and get his knee back in shape for this fall.

I'm cautious about any of these guys now that Jones has been named the frontrunner. I think we're about to see how badly these kids want to be at UT versus playing just for the coach that's there.

probably won't be able to do that but Eldridge would be a great fit for the SEC and Tenn.
He would work particularly well with a Tyler Bray at qb.

CBJ said he would use a pro-style offense and that he didn't like to use the word "spread" because it has a connotation of "finesse" that does not fit his "power" style offense. Sounds like a pro-style O with spread aspects. Sounds like Chaney's system. Really looking forward to this coming year with or without Bray. I think Peterman and Worley will push each other and surprise some people. If Bray returns, as he should, then all three benefit.
