No one in the UT basketball program wanted or expected Jeronne Maymon to redshirt this season, but everyone's on the same page about it being the best thing for his future.

Great write up Wes....they could have sure used him this season but I think it's obvious the right call was for him to take a red shirt.

He was our catalyst last year and will have a GREAT year after the redshirt. He should be a monstor on the boards with a commanding inside presence!! GO VOLS, VFL!!
