Maymon on football future: 'Maybe'

Given his size and athleticism, it's fair to question whether UT hoops player Jeronne Maymon has ever considered playing football. Maymon told govols247 he won't rule it out.

He probably has garbage hands, but I'd love to put him on the edge as a Jack LB and just say "Jeronne. See ball/hit ball. Go!"

I would think someone with his rebounding ability and offensive touch around the basket has good hands.

Red zone TE. Throw it up and let him get it. Kinda like Tony Gonzales back in the day. Definitely wouldn't be as polished but same idea.

How exactly does multi-sport eligibility work? 4 for basketball and 4 for football (assuming you want to be in school that long)?
