Even before learning he’d line up at 3-technique tackle in UT's new defensive scheme, Daniel McCullers planned to drop some weight. Now he's happier that he did, though.

That's the biggest football player I think I have ever seen. He makes Kwame Geathers look like a regular sized dude. I'm very interested to see how he does as a 3-tech because he'll definitely be playing nose in the NFL.

Looking forward to see how they do in pads and hitting somebody! I frustrated me last year with games like Akron and it did not seem like we wanted to hit somebody, I hope that changes this year!! GBO!!!

I'll raise you ten more but it won't be a surprise to us anyway LOL. I love the way these guy's are talking about Coach Lawson I think we will be much quicker and maybe a little faster wich is a must.

His picture still scares me. He is such a mammoth. I hope he creates a lot of controlled recklessness this year and lands on top of all RBs and QBs. Great write up Wes. GO VOLS!

Mount Cody was and is huge but he also looks like a blob. It's suprising how much fitter and leaner "the Griz" looks than Cody. He's just a naturally thick bodied huge human being. I am glad he came back for his senior season. Good for us and good for him. Badddd... for a lot of offenses that will see him this year!

McCuller's seemed to move really well for his size last year. I really think this year's d line can be almost as good as the o line if it gets the right coaching. The potential talent and size is there to do some damage in the SEC....

Hope he hits his stride and spends a lot of time in the back field during the Oregon game. Oregon with screwed up timing equals happy Vols.

Man do I look forward to seeing this big man in better shape! And there's another lineman the line will have to deal with. McCullers should be familiar with our opponent's backfields.
Love hearing the these players think they have the best coach in the world. That's good stuff right there!

It took 2 and sometimes 3 to block him last year. With 3 other big guys coming up field in a hurry they won't be able to double and triple him - I don't think. If they do chose to do that, somebody else on the line is going to have a career day.
