I absolutely agree we should give one of them a shot. Like other members have posted, it will help out our running back position and could help us improve our record, which will improve our chances at Hurd and other top recruits. Go Vols!

Normally I am against taking risky picks when it comes to character only because you can see how negatively it affects a team( Bray, Rogers). But after all indications point towards Dyer seeing the light then I say give him a chance. I also think including dyer could help our chances with Hurd especially if Dyer comes in and has 1000+ yards and a couple TD's and goes pro we could easily point to how a talented player can benefit from our coaching and system! Go get Em' Butch!

Would absolutely love to snag Dyer some how... Seems he has actually tried to fix things, whereas Crowell hasn't. Dyer would be perfect for us recruiting-wise because he would be gone in 2 years and could contribute immediately.

The only connection I see between Dyer and UT is Tommy Thigpen. Thigz was a coach at Auburn when Dyer was playing there, and going through his "problems." If anybody knows Dyer, its Thigz.
