    Those kids are few and far between these days. You have some, like Vonn Bell, who grew up TN fans, but many 18-year-olds this day have little recollection of the Vols ever being competitive in their lives.

    Kind of sad to think about really.

    A big coaching hire is the kind of jolt our recruiting needs. As much as we all hated Kiffin, he was a recruiting boost. Kids can relate to younger guys.

    Don't pretend that we don't need this kid. Heck we could've used him this year. We need depth at all the secondary positions.

    I saw this coming and I don't blame him one bit. Look at how aTm is playing vs. the Vols. and much closer to home.

    thank you for pointing this out. people who start the "we didn't need him anyway" threads make me sick. we need all the help we can use in the secondary. someone who has never seen the kid play decides "he is overated". clueless.

    Anyway, we've most likely got 2 more years of Randolph and at least 2 more with McNeil so I'm not gonna lose sleep over losing Miles.
