In a tie for the runner up spot are the lyrically compelling "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You" by Heart ("we walked in the garden/we planted a tree") and "Escape (the Piña Colada song)"-like they'd actually get back together after meeting in a personal add when they were dating in the first place. Come on!

The Darkness song was a great throwback to 80s hair metal per-Nirvana. It would have fit perfectly between "Love in an Elevator" and "Paradise City" on KZ-106 back in the day.
The second song was Lila McCann, IIRC. She basically disappeared after that album, as did Jessica Andrews...

Disagree on "escape" simply because Dirty Work was one of the most funny movies made in the 90s and this song is featured significantly.
