If this info is accurate (e.g. Gundy staying at OSU and Strong to LV), why are we messing around with them? Butch Davis is a much more proven coach, can start right away (to my knowledge) and would not get big-footed by Saban, Miles, etc. on the recruiting trail. Let's hire Butch and get rolling back to the top.

Jimbo Fisher was never coming to Tennessee and didn't interview. FSU is a better all around job sitting in the best recruiting region in the country. FSU is building a new indoor practice facility and student dorm to house athletes, both finished by August, that is top line. On the other hand, Louisville is a step up for Strong and he is a heck of a coach. Gundy is just playing the field for a better deal at his own alma mata OSU in a power struggle with his AD. Hire Strong and be done with it. Otherwise, you may end up with another Dooley.

That sums up my feelings as well.
