I'm predicting a VOL win, probably not a run away, more like 21-17. This UNC defense is much better than what we faced at the close of regular season. Have a feeling Tyler Bray will have a little bit more of a prob with this defense, hope not, but I am sure looking forward to seeing him go deep many times..

35-17 good guys. No Heels run game, TJ throws a pick-6 along with his 2 TD's . Bray tosses 3 TD's and Poole gets a long TD run.

There is no doubt that UNC has a MUCH better defense than anything we saw over the final four games of the season. The weather will likely have an effect on the game, but as long as there is not a lot of wind, the skill position players should get used to the weather. I think a higher-scoring game works to our favor, but I don't see that happening. I think it's a one-score game either way. Bowl games are SO hard to predict. Big Orange 24-UNC 20.

I'm with apkvol on a 24-20 UT victory. Of course if either team scores big and early, it could easily take the emotion out of the game and turn into a route. I don't expect to see this from UNC especially when you consider that UT will have a home field advantage and the crowd should weather their team through any early storms. I definitely have concerns about UT's ability to score points. This offense looked great in November, but it never really clicked the rest of the year against quality defenses. On the other side of the ball, Butch Davis is a very good coach and giving him a month to prepare for UT is nothing to scoff at. I expect that they've found some match ups in our defense they'd like to exploit so it will be of the utmost importance that we get solid line play to stop the run and put pressure on their passing game.
I'll hang up and listen.

I have not seen UNC play, so I don't have a clue on who is going to win. The line is 1 and the o/u is 50, so I will go with Vols 27-24.

I hope you are, BraysDeepVols, right and believe it could happen.
I have confidence this coaching staff can do an excellent job preparing the team, but I don't know much about UNC and I know the Vols have some limitations.
