I am a proud 1992 alumnus of the University of Tennessee and an avid supporter of UT's academic programs and sports programs.

It is my strong belief that academic excellence and football excellence is not mutually exclusive.  The football program needs your attention and leadership immediately.  We need excellence in leadership in this area and improved performance.  I implore you to make the investment to secure the best leader possible to lead the program.

The University of Alabama unfortunately provides an excellent example.  UA secured the talents of the best available leader in the market and the results are amazing.  Their on field success has been unmatched as well as their financial improvement.  Furthermore, I live in Dallas, Texas and multiple University of Alabama billboards have emerged marketing the academic success as well as the athletic success.  I also have kids in a private high school and their friends really perceive Alabama as a great destination for college.  These are the best and brightest in Dallas.

Chancellor, I urge you to lead during this time at UT.  Make a commitment to our football program to secure THE BEST leader in the market place and reap the rewards across the entire UT system.
