Assuming NC State pulls out a win against FSU, those people claiming that UGAs loss to the Gamecocks makes UT look bad would also have to argue that NCSU beating FSU makes UT look better. Otherwise, they're just being hypocritical.

since I'm one of "those people", I agree, the win by ncsu does make us look better. But it doesn't undermine my original point about our defense.

If it would count, I think they would go by the final rankings after teh BCS Championship game.
