They do not have to do anything. They can set rules regardless of state law. Example it is against NCAA rules to sell memorabilia but allowed under the law. The NCAA is considered a voluntary organization so their members can set rules regardless of state laws. In addition the NCAA does not require schools to ban certain drugs or even have a drug policy at all. The only rule is if you have a drug policy then the school has to abide by it. Also it will not effect the pro sports leagues either. Those drug testing rules are established by the CBA. A lot of NFL players are being suspended for using Adderall even though they have a prescription it is against the leagues drug policy.

hey let them load up and smoke away..could you imagine half the team smoking that stuff before a game..it would look like our defense this year ..every game..as long its them and not us. noway nacaa would allow this.and lot that is for cancer patients and other health problem i would think not sure ..but i see your point
