The crowd was so loud before the opening kickoff that you couldn't even hear the sideline reporters talking because the crowd noise drowned them out.

I saw that. Pretty impressive. Domes are ridiculously loud for games like this.

The SEC championship games I have attended have been among the best atmospheres I've ever experienced, although the crowd is usually split roughly 50-50 — or at least something close to that. I tell everybody this all the time, but that's one of the best events in sports. I also think the Georgia Dome is an underrated venue, at least for football, although it appears Atlanta already is trying to replace it soon.

My brother drove down for the game, said it was crazy loud...
I'm sure somewhere Oregon fan is yelling "nothing is as loud as Autzen!!"

I've only been in the dome twice before the NC State game - the first game the Falcons ever played there (preseason game) and the 1996 Olympics for basketball. I don't understand why they want to replace that place, as it's a great home field advantage for the Falcons.

I've been on the UO campus on a gameday Saturday - standing just outside the stadium you really couldn't hear too much - wasn't even as a loud as the crowd outside Neyland for the Vol Walk.

Is it just me or Does Roddy White remind you guys of CP? Same body build, same athletic ability( CP more explosive and makes ppl miss) heck same number and hair. Just watching the game and that popped in my head.

Blank wants more luxury boxes, and he's not happy with the parking and concessions contracts.
Folks in the ATL are pretty solidly against building another stadium this soon, but in Blank's defense, he's agreed to pick up at least 70 percent of the tab. If they can win the Super Bowl, he'll never be in a stronger bargaining position.
