I would love to have OU with tamu in west and any combo of Va tech and UNC and DuKe.

The implication from that link is that Okla, Mizzou and A&M are discussing a move to the SEC. If that comes to fruition ALA and AUB would have to move to the "east" division and add maybe VaTech or UNC to balance out the 16 team conference. The only real plum in that arrangement is "Oklahoma", but it would be a strong conference none the less and filled with new TV markets. I like the SEC the way it is, but something like that may happen.

No wonder A&M wants out. Texas is to arrogant to admit theymay have to join another conf. OU and OSU are joined at the hip from what I've read. Why would ND turn down the Big 10 and agree to join the Big 12? No way IMO. Its really going to get interesting. Thanks Bigorange for this info. +1

I found it quite interesting. I hate bammers and their mythical 35 national championships. They really have 5 but if we played Texas I think they would quickly surpass bammers as most hated.

They already are for me. For some reason I was surrounded by Texas alums when I lived in Orlando and their arrogance was amazing to me. Texas (overtook ND) and tOSU are the only schools that I consistently root for their opponent. The arrogance of their fans makes me giddy with excitement whenever they suffer a loss in anything.

Uh.... no!!!! No self respecting conference should allow it. And Notre F. Dame shouldn't have an exclusive deal with NBC, either.
