I like Coach Jones' driving range vs playing a round of golf analogy.
I know we'll have to wait and see, but I like what I see so far, like the "63" concept.

The QB battle will go all the way into the fall IMO. This is going to be a fun position battle to watch.

Yep, I just hope we finish Spring with 2 viable starters at QB, WR and RB, Safety, Corner....

Worley may be another Tony Pike type athlete that operates so well in this system it keeps Peterman on the bench..I just get the feeling that Peterman will end up under center by the first game of the season.

I don't care who plays, I just hope we put a competitive Vol Team on the field each and every game. By what the coaches say, the ones who play will give us the best opportunity to do that.

I look forward to the QB battle. I love that we have two good ones pushing each other. More than anything, I love what I am reading about the way these coaches install their systems. Methodically. That nonsense of throw it all at them that Sunseri pulled was a bust. Feeling very encouraged by what I am reading/hearing. Bring it to the field! Bring it to the game!

I really love this coaching staff so far. They almost seem like a group of guys who just need a shot to be on the big stage. I really dont feel like we are short on talent(with the help of some young guys) like some people seem to think. go vols

I know it's first practice and I only saw about 30 minutes of live play, but Peterman won the first practice. The zip of his passes was fun to watch. He threw a great pass to Croom that he fit in between 3 defenders

I admit I'm rooting for him. No disrespect to Worley, but it is such an advantage to have a QB who can pull it down and run for a first down. We haven't really had a QB who could do that since Tee Martin.

Competition is good for all these guys. Ainge opined this morning that Peterman is less of a scrambler, so it could give Jones multiple options in the positions for different situations.
