I wonder how much Ferguson had an impact on his decision? I heard he was recruiting North hard. Our future QB also deserves a round of applause for this one. Without Fergie in his ears, I'm pretty sure he would've chose UNC.

You may be right but I think the relationship with CJG along with CBJ sold dad and that tipped the scales. No doubt though that Ferguson helped.

Interesting. One of the first tweets that he sent out lastnight, that wasn't a retweet, was a picture of him and Ferguson from their OV.

Cant believe i missed out on the boom cannons last night.. this is what i get for watching "Ted" last night instead of hanging out on 247...my bad..wont happen again. TREMENDOUS news to wake up to though.. Wide Receiver U BABY!!!

Sorry Rich that was supposed to be an up vote..Getting North is big but getting Lawson would be HUGE.. Nice stable of WR,s in this class but who will be throwing them the ball..Frankly I have zero confidence in Worley..We shall see

was just watching some of North's film again..it's impossible not to be excited about him..6'3, 210 and runs a 4.4 forty.. Just needs to clean up his route running a bit and you are looking at potentially one of the elite receivers in the country by the time he is done.. Physically, he is SEC ready.

I got him back for you to get him to even. I think the only thing Worley was missing was the proper motivation and confidence. I think his talent is extremely good and CBJ will instill in him the confidence he needs to be successful. Just seems that sort of thing is Butch's forte.

I did the same thing last night. Moves really well for such a big man. Wondering if the 4.4 is legit(?). He's plenty fast regardless. No one in high school catches North from behind. But if the 4.4 is real, then I totally agree that he will become a college stud. North and Croom together will be hard for sub-6 foot DB's to deal with. We are really well-stocked at WR!! WRU!!

I just finished watching M. North's highlight take, and as i sit here i become more and more excited. This kid is HUGE with great speed. He looks to be the type of player, and WR that will fit perfectly in CBJ's spread no huddle attack. I look for him to have Justin Hunters productivity at WR and CP's production in the run game. Go Vols!
