Croom to TE? W/R/K do you think that was more motivated by need at that position, or the fact that he is better suited there than WR?

I know Croom is a big WR. Is it a lack of speed or quickness that is making the move to TE seem best? Will he be a fast TE? Either way, look forward to seeing him on the field next year.

If the defense shows up and plays all 4 quarters like they have for a quarter or two against Florida and Georgia, this is a very winnable game. If it doesn't it could look like the GA-SC game.... since I am assuming you saw the live practices...does the defense look any better?

Croom at TE? I love it. He will put on some LBs and will be awesome. He will make a very good, faster, quicker than normal TE. He will come up big next year. BIG!!!!

This thread took a turn, but boy-oh-boy I'm glad to see Dooley said that. I've watched us look like we were lined up pretty well on a lot of plays, but just could NOT get off blocks at all--to the point it sometimes looked like we were trying to hold onto the blockers.
Regardless of scheme, if we can find a way to get off blocks, it'll be huge in stopping the big running plays. Hope we used the open date well in this regard.
