He did. Marlon Lane looked fine at times. Not sure our VOLS are going to very effective with SEC teams running up the middle.

Is it too late to get Neal enrolled in a geography class so he can learn "north and south"? i like his speed and potential, but sometimes watching him is down right frustrating

neal does need to run north and south instead of trying to cut it outside and lose 2 to 4 yards.and young needs to stay at returner and maby an end a round but should not get many carries.lane looked great on long run but okay the other carries .but the line to be so big and experienced still need to learn how to block better in the run game.

I think Lane can be the RB we need, he must not practice well or something. He was the best looking back through spring IMO and he was the best looking back on the field last night too.

Maybe? 1. We haven't seen enough "healthy" Lane and 2. He has to be more consistent. Consistency IMO is what sets a great RB apart from a decent/good RB. JMO though. I just someone steps up and takes control of the spot.
