I love coach sal and the intensity he brings day in and day out compared to the more laid back style of Wilcox last year, I've been waiting for a while for someone else to say this but does coach sal not have a mild resemblance to elmer fudd? "I'm huntin qwaarter backs"

I'm kind of with you here, but Ga St. would be a great time to get our young receivers some reps too and the mismatches that Croom will present are very exciting, especially with the Gators secondary. I'm predicting a lot of pass interference calls again this year for the gators crew-if Hunter and Patterson and Rogers don't just blow by them!

I think it is safe to sat Sal has been a hit with Dooley and the players thus far. These kids really seem to like his intensity and style. Has to help on the recruiting trail.

Definitely agree on Zach Rogers being the better choice for the threesome. Although the freshmen may have talent that can be developed, They are a long way from being in the competing category with Zach Rogers. Rogers with a lot of receiving experience plus his speed and good hands make him my choice for a 3 WR set. I suspect this is a good game to see what Croom can do as well as some of the other freshmen plus the walkon WR just receiving a scholly.

Bama fans don't say this to often, but I was really impressed with the Vols this weekend. That was a solid performance start to finish. Hope this takes some heat off CDD, given time think he will do well at UT. That "other" wr wasn't even missed.

I would say this is clearly a communication/position error issue. For for usual defenses D- Line have gap control, linebackers read FB for directional responsibility, then run then pass, and strong safety would then have pass, then run. qb containment could be many of the issues already mentioned. Containment usually always falls on DE, SS, or LB.
