Notes: Vols still discussing Dooley

  • Yesm he is good but he chokes at the end. they throw alot more than they run. 57 to 21 the last game. It has been lopsided for a few years. Peyton threw around 400 times a year and they ran 190 to 250 times. the closest to a balanced offense was his freshman year. The stats look great but the results are not that great as you can see. I am sure there is a reason or reasons behind why we don't run and not sure why that is. Peyton was great but couldn't beat the running teams. Nebraska , Florida. Tyler needs to be making plays with his feet and this could help with 3 and long and turn it into 3rd and 5 to 7. I love Dooley, He has brought class back to UT. I pray for the right decision. Go Vols!!!

  • Tyler Bray is a very talented player with great stats. However he does not have it. That is the ability to win football games when the ball is in his hands. The Fla, Ga, SC, Miss St, Missouri. games all could have been won by an offensive drive resulting in victory. Now I would not expect him to pull out all five games but to not win any is simply the "it" which he does not have. The redshirt freshman at A&M has "it". Great players rise to the occassion and make big plays in big games. He will go down in Tenn history as one of the most talented QBs of all time without a single big victory. He does not have a clue the committment it takes to succeed at the next level. After three years of frustration with his inability to lead please give me Worley or Peterman.
