This is a collection of tweets sent by Notre Dame fans during the national championship game. It's hilarious to watch the fanbase melt down as the game continues. Warning - the language is pretty rough so don't read if you are sensitive or easily offended.

Both funny and disturbing at the same time. If I was a black athlete I don't know how comfortable I would feel at ND. Really some racist stuff in there.

What is so funny about this? It reads like our game tracks each game whether football, basketball, LV Basketball, etc. Go back & read them, read the thread on the Lady Vols, the part from the UTC game. Then some of the folks on this board should look in the mirror and realize that they are just like the ND fans that are being laughed at..

and out comes the rain. It's just a humorous post. I guarantee you that every team has a part of their fan base that behaves this way. Just enjoy the post for what it is, humor.

I'm not sure what your point is. And why it needs "reinforcement". Every fan base has those fans that overreact to something happening in front of them. It's called being a fan as opposed to being an observer. Stand-up comedians make millions of dollars pointing out and ridiculing the ridiculous way people behave. If this violated your sense of propriety, too bad. I won't apologize for it.

I agree it is a humorous post and is quite entertaining until it gets ugly. My point was that it shouldn't be laughed at too hard because sadly this site is full of those post every game day. Another point is I think those kind of post are ridiculous and quite immature no matter how big a "fan" you are. You don't have to get on line here and do a play-by-play bitch session. I am quite the fan, not an "observer" but do not participate in that crap.

I absolutely despise both teams, but some of those comments were pretty dang funny. Those teams outside the south really have no idea how different our football is compared to other "brands" of football. I really think Bama would've laid the wood to any team they played in that game.....and it pains me to say that.
